Monthly Food Drive

Each month, on the third Sunday, you're asked to bring non-perishable items to the Church for distribution to the hungry living in our community.

Christmas Toy Drive

Every year, the St. Bruno community provides toys to hundreds of children in the Whittier area for Christmas.  Please consider donating a new unwrapped toy.  Each year, trees are up in the church vestibule and the entry way to the Parish Center.  Take a tag and attach it to your unwrapped donated toy.  All toys will be distributed to Scotty's Restaurant, Inter-Faith Food Center, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors. 

Baby Items Drive

During the months of November and December, the parish and school of St. Bruno collect a variety of baby items which are distributed to the Whittier Life Center and made into baby bags for new and needy mothers.

Walk For Life

During the month of March, the Whittier Life Center hosts an annual Walk for Life.  The walk begins in the morning at St. Bruno and concludes with a barbecue and raffle in the afternoon.  You can walk or run approximately 2, 5, or 10K.  For those that cannot walk back there will be transportation back to St. Bruno.  Many like to make this walk their Lenten penance as a sacrifice for the unborn and aborted babies.  This is a major fundraiser for the Whittier Life Center, as it is their primary source of income.  For more information, please contact the Whittier Life Center at (562) 693-8803.
