Mission
To prepare Catholic adults (18 years and older) for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Sacramental Preparation
Sacramental preparation will focus on Jesus, Our Redeemer, as we explore the basics of our Catholic faith, a prayerful approach to life, the Scriptures, charitable works, our relationship with God. This Session has 12 weekly evening classes including some zoom classes, based on assigned reading, video presentations, and written assignments. Also, there will be an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and a one-day retreat for Candidates and Sponsors who assist as partners on this faith journey.
Requirements
In preparation for Confirmation, the following documents are to be submitted to the Program Coordinator by Monday, January 31, 2022:
- A recent copy (dated within the last 6 months) of Baptismal Certificate,
- A copy of First Holy Communion Certificate
COVID-19 Restrictions
Appropriate adjustments will be implemented and shared with Candidates if COVID-19 restrictions impact elements of the Adult Confirmation Session.
