It’s our privilege and passion to serve children and teens with a wide variety of special needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and ADHD. We understand that having a child with special needs is life-changing. Please know that it’s our heart for every individual to be supported, given the chance to engage with their peers, and feel a sense of belonging while preparing to receive a Sacrament. Our Special Needs Ministry requires a parent or authorized family member to attend sessions with their child.
What if my child with special needs is preparing for Baptism, First Holy Communion or Confirmation?
Great! This ministry exists for children and teens who are preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation). We will share more about this at the Parent Meeting and throughout the year.
When does Special Needs Ministry meet?
Special Needs Ministry meets on Monday eveningsfrom 6:00-7:00pm during the school year, typically once a month.
Will meetings be in-person or online?
We plan on all of our meetings occurring in-person and will not have an online or hybrid option.
How do I register for Special Needs Ministry?
Registration for the current year is closed. Check our website in early June 2024 for registration for the 2024-25 year.
