To clean and care for the Sanctuary of the Church and related vessels used in celebrating the Mass and other liturgies.
About the Ministry
"We are the handmaids of the Lord."
This ministry of housekeeping for the Lord is open to men and women. Currently, a dozen women meet in the Church every Friday morning to dust, clean and sew as needed assuring that our place of worship is respectfully maintained. The many vessels, candles, altar linens to be cleaned and polished along with seasonal decorating require many hands and an unfaltering dedication to the Lord. Time commitments range from a couple of hours at the Church to a day of laundering at home.
