To serve God and assist the congregation by reading the Word of God from Sacred Scripture during Mass and other liturgical events.

About the Ministry

Lectors are men and women who, after required training, serve God by publicly sharing His Word in a respectful and prayerful manner during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Lectors are assigned to do readings during Mass and other liturgical celebrations for which they volunteer in advance.
